How will we achieve our aims

* By being available to children and young people and listening to them and acting on their behalf.

* By making sure we are linking in with all the agencies whose services impact on the day to day lives of children and young people.

* By actively contributing to the work of Falkirk Children's Commission.

* By making sure children and young people in Falkirk get their say in relation to local and national consultations and policy.

Our people

Quarriers’ Falkirk Children’s Rights Service aims to provide an advocacy service for children and young people living in the Falkirk area.

The service will link closely with all key providers to children, families and young people in Falkirk and will welcome and encourage the involvement of Falkirks Children’s Commission.

We will speak up for you

The Children’s Rights Officer will act in the best interests of the children and young people whose rights they will seek to promote and protect, respecting the confidentiality and individuality of any young person who is referred to, or approaches, the Children’s Rights Officer for independent and impartial advice, support or advocacy.

Referred children and young people will be as involved as possible in the initial assessment of their issues, and in identifying paths and barriers towards desired solutions.

The service will link closely with all key providers to children, families and young people in Falkirk and will welcome and encourage the involvement of Falkirk Children’s Commission.
